Two Indian-origin illegal workers held in Leicester
    Tucson Post
    Saturday 31st July, 2010
    (IANS)

Two Indian-origin illegal workers were arrested by the UK Border Agency during a raid in a clothing factory here. They are now awaiting deportation.

Acting on a tip off, the agency officials went to the factory, Glamour Creations, on St Barnabas Road and discovered the two men, an official said Saturday.

One of them tried to escape, but in vain. The factory faces a fine of 20,000 pounds unless it can prove that correct employment checks were carried out for hiring the two.
